About Grenouille Shih Tzu

Grenouille Shih Tzu was established in 1974, soon after the breed’s recognition in 1969.  Throughout the years, Grenouille Shih Tzu has strived to produce sound, healthy happy Shih Tzu of proper breed type.  We breed just one or two litters a year, primarily to produce future show hopefuls for our own breeding program.

We are proud to have bred Ch. Keepsake’s Dream Catcher, an all-breed BIS winner and the number one Shih Tzu in 1995, and Ch. Grenouille’s Rainbow’s End, a multiple Specialty Show and Group winner and the BOB Winner at the 1996 National Specialty.

We are continuing our carefully-planned breeding  program, and we are also adding a few carefully selected bloodlines to this program. Our recent and upcoming stars include Ch. Grenouille He Shoots, He Scores, Ch. Keepsake Grenouille Brocade, Ch. Grenouille Spun Sugar, Keepsake Grenouille Star Brite and Grenouille Pony on Parade.  Watch for the last three in the ring this summer!

I am active in the breed and am a member of the Shih Tzu Club of Southeastern Wisconsin and the American Shih Tzu Club.  In addition, I am a delegate to the Combined Specialty Clubs of Greater Milwaukee for the Shih Tzu Club of Southeastern Wisconsin.
